Rafiqul Islam Bhuiyan comes from a family of 5, he is the second sibling, preceeded by his elder sister, and 3 younger siblings.
His father had a part in local politics, and growing Rafiqul was never introduced to his fathers political life, this
left a lasting impression on him, Rafiqul believed that he should have had a chance to participate in local politics.
Accused of sabotaging his family members so that would not have a chance to run for elections if they ever chose to.
Rafiqul currently lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh where he can be contacted at +880 (2) 891-3578. He is a retired engineer
of the Bangladesh Railway where he worked from 1970 onward to his retirement in the 90's.
He has a wife, Mahfuza (Mira), and three daughters, Sabina, Samina, and Sadia all of whom reside in the USA. Sabina resides
in Texas, Samina in VA.
Rafiqul's current plans are to immigrate to the USA. Today is around 70 years of age.
